CI 295 is a premium grade strongly acidic, gel-type cation exchange resin , based on styrene-DVB copolymer. CI 295 is supplied with a color indicator to visibility show when the cation capacity has been exhausted. CI 295 is recommended for use where a visual endpoint is required.  Color change takes place as capacity is utilized - changing from a dark purple color to light golden brown.  The color front will gradually move down the column in cocurrent operation.
